“Victory is Yours” is a perfect anthem for the
weekend we are headed into of Easter where
millions of Christians will be gathering across
the globe to remember the death of our
Savior Jesus Christ and celebrate His
resurrection too. This song is straight from
the Word of God and it declares that God has
overcome death!
“I love this song because it speaks on the
power of Christ and how powerful He is to
deliver us from every battle we are facing and
will face. If we believe in overcoming, we will
because of our faith in Him.”- Maxine Reyes
This song was also written to encourage any
person who might be battling serious issues
in life like depression, sickness, anxiety, fear
and rejection to be reminded that God has
won it all for us at the cross.
Maxine was born in Kingston, Jamaica, but grew up Manchester with her great-grandmother
who died when she was 12 years old and had to move back with her mother and stepfather and
attended school until freshman year of high school. After her first year in high school, Maxine

for a while and attended Cooper City High, she later transferred to Miramar High where she
graduated and was voted most talented at her senior prom by her peers due to her singing
skills. By now she has grown accustomed to moving and decided to join the military to further
