AUSTIN, Texas, – The Every Student Sent web platform has successfully unlocked a major key to simultaneously reverse the 70% college faith drop-off, while developing and equipping disciples who make disciples. For the first time, it’s now possible to start college with a team of Christian friends and ministry leaders that students can get to know many months prior to their arrival on the college campus of their choice thanks to the Every Student Sent platform and a large coalition of national ministries, denominations, and Christian schools.
Ronnie Floyd (Sothern Baptist Convention) summarized: “What breaks our heart is when we see students not carry their faith forward. You need to consider being a part of EveryStudentSent.org. You can upload all your students and literally expose them to collegiate ministries and churches who have all partnered together. This has the potential to change the world!
SENT 2021 will equip the high school class of 2021 and current college students to thrive in their faith, while teaching them practical steps to spread the gospel movement in their dorm communities and sphere of influence. Every Student Sent provides free course content to teach students how to create disciple-making movements among other students early in the semester when they are most open to meeting new people and trying new things.
About the movement, Every Student Sent founder Jeremy Story says: “College campuses are the leveraged places to influence culture in our society. Teaching students to become disciples who make disciples is the best way to create a growing impact.”
According to The Navigators, the first 72 hours on campus dictates who students will bond with and often their faith trajectory, so connecting early with a clear mission is key. The goal is nothing less than tripling Christian college grads into society by reversing the 70% loss and catalyzing discipleship movements.
The Engage menu on www.EveryStudentSent.org has pro-active strategies for youth, college students, parents, churches and ministries. This includes a Graduation Kit with media for churches and schools.
“The SENT 2021 event will unite and equip students, plus all those who play an important role in their lives. This will be a launch pad to accelerate student, parent, and leader awareness movements so that no student starts college unprepared and alone” explained ESS Partnership Director, John Decker.
The SENT 2021 speakers include Greg Stier from Dare2Share, York Moore from InterVarsity, Brian Barcelona from Jesus Clubs, Julie Loos from Moms in Prayer, Yasmin Pierce from Circuit Riders, and Jeremy Story from Every Student Sent.
Every Student Sent is a ministry of Campus Renewal Ministries, Austin TX which has organized united ministry movements on college campuses for over 21 years.
