LOS ANGELES — Entrepreneur and philanthropist Stephen J. Cloobeck donated another $250,000 to the Los Angeles Dream Center earlier this month. His donation will be critical for funding the Dream Center’s Family Floor, which serves as a refuge for hundreds of Los Angeles families battling poverty and housing insecurity every year.
“I truly believe in what the Dream Center stands for, and I make it a point to support their efforts whenever I can,” said Cloobeck, the founder, CEO, and former Chairman of Diamond Resorts International. “The incredible changes I see happening in people’s lives as a result of their work, especially with programs like the Family Floor, inspire me to donate every year.”
“The generosity of friends like Stephen help keep our doors open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for anyone and everyone in desperate need of a comeback,” said Dream Center co-founder Matthew Barnett. “Our Family Floor provides a vital service to the community, and I’m grateful we can depend on Stephen. What a blessing he has been to the people of Los Angeles.”
Cloobeck has now donated a total of $750,000 to the Los Angeles Dream Center over the years. The Dream Center, founded in 1991, is a faith-based nonprofit organization serving individuals battling addiction, victims escaping abuse, former inmates in need of rehabilitation, and many others facing financial and mental health crises.
