‘The Left will stop at nothing to indoctrinate America’s children,’
says Dr. Alex McFarland
GREENSBORO, N.C. — A Colorado Christian summer camp, Camp IdRaHaJe, is suing the state over new state licensing requirements regarding children’s resident camps to permit campers access to bathing, dressing and sleeping facilities that align with the camper’s gender identity, stating that the ruling directly violates the camp’s religious liberties. After being denied a religious exemption, Camp IdRaHaJe advocates argue that the new requirements are forcing the camp to abandon its 77-year-old faith mission in the face of dangerous liberal ideology. “The law ignores reality and children are the ones who ultimately pay the price,” said ADF senior counsel Ryan Tucker.
“The Left will stop at nothing to indoctrinate America’s children,” said youth, culture and religion expert Dr. Alex McFarland. McFarland has extensive experience working with youth through various retreats, conferences, and programs and is well aware of the hardships facing today’s teens.
“It is sickening to hear that the state of Colorado is forcing children to bathe, dress and sleep in the same cabin as the opposite sex,” declared McFarland. “These poor children are being forced into uncomfortable and unsafe situations, all for the sake of a few radical liberals who are trying to make a point. Additionally, the idea that a Christian camp is required to abandon its religious identity goes directly against our nation’s ideals. Camps are meant for children, not for politicians to try to make a point.”
Alex McFarland Ministries, in partnership with Reasons For Hope, is proud to offer Equip Retreat Camps for families looking for unapologetic Christian camps to educate and inspire today’s young people.
