Capernaum Studios unveils brand-new soundstage

(Fort Worth, TX) — Capernaum Studios in Weatherford, Texas has just unveiled their new 8,000 square foot soundstage at a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, May 24. Founder and president, Tammy Lane, says the new facility has been in the works for over two years.

“In addition to the modern and period film sets we already have, this new soundstage offers a lot of flexibility,” says Lane. “We can accommodate commercials, films, television shows and even large events. We also have a 30X12 LED screen that can be used for virtual productions, backgrounds, actual sets, live TV shows and basically anything.”

Capernaum Studios, located on over 55 acres in Weatherford, Texas, is home to over 50 major film productions every year. Kathie Lee Gifford, T.D. Jakes, and The Chosen series (the highest crowd-funded project of all time) have all been part of the studio’s diverse clientele. Lane’s latest project, a film trilogy entitled Washington’s Armor, was also filmed at the studios in several locations across the extensive property.

Capernaum offers all the accoutrements necessary for large productions including a variety of sets, on-site crew lodging, large meeting room with kitchen, production offices, broadcasting center, as well as wardrobe, props, and set dressing.

On June 7 and 8, the public can tour the sets of The Chosen for free. For more information visit https://www.capernaumstudios.com/ or call 817-341-7257.
