Pastor Greg Laurie and Harvest Crusades hosting “Hope for America” on November 16 at Utah Valley University, the site of Charlie Kirk’s assassination
OREM, Utah — On November 16, at Utah Valley University, Greg Laurie and Harvest Ministries will welcome students and guests from around the country to join “Hope for America.” This will be a unique outreach event to inspire hope at the very site of Charlie Kirk’s assassination back in September.
This free event, with tickets available to anyone looking to attend, will include a night of worship with renowned artists like Chris Tomlin and Phil Wickham, and a message of hope, healing, and revival from Pastor Greg Laurie. Currently, all in-person tickets have been claimed, but anyone can still be a part of the night. Harvest is encouraging those interested to tune in to the livestream on the Harvest+ app or at harvest.org and consider hosting a watch party to share the experience with family and friends.
“We’re heading to UCCU Center, on the campus of Utah Valley University, where Charlie left this world for the next,” said Laurie. “We’re going right to the spot where darkness took place, and we’re going to turn on the radiant light of Jesus Christ and preach the same Gospel that Charlie himself preached. As so many Americans still wrestle with the horror that took place here, we’re going to make it clear that evil never has the final say, and that God’s love for his people will never fade and can always restore what’s broken.”
