Honoring Freedom – In America and in Christ
As we celebrate the 4th of July, Abundant TV invites you to pause and reflect on the incredible blessings we enjoy living in a free nation. Independence Day is more than fireworks, cookouts, and flags—it’s a time to give thanks for the men and women who have sacrificed for our liberty and to remember that true freedom begins with Christ.
In Galatians 5:1, we’re reminded:
“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.”
This verse reminds us that while we celebrate the founding of our country, we must also embrace the spiritual freedom given to us through Jesus. It’s a freedom that no government can give or take away. It’s the freedom of salvation, grace, and eternal life.
