Nashville, TN- – Globally renowned Christian music recording artist Chris Tomlin is wrapping up a record-breaking 2024 with the close of his highly successful global tour, being selected as the first-ever artist for Apple Music Holiday Sessions, the release of “Emmanuel God with Us” with Anne Wilson and an upcoming Christmas tour launching December 4.
Apple Music invited Tomlin to be the first-ever artist to record at their studio an exclusive Apple Music Holiday Sessions. The session includes “Emmanuel God With Us,” “Angels We Have Heard on High,” “Noel” feat. Franni Rae, and two of Tomlin’s daughters, Ashlyn and Madison, and a one-of-a-kind Christmas version of the incredibly powerful “Holy Forever.” The song features newly written Christmas verses and was sent to radio this November to be played on the airways this December. Listeners across the nation have had a phenomenal response to the radio add as one of their favorite worship songs ushers in the Christmas holiday.
Continuing to deliver this holiday season, on November 29, Tomlin will release “Emmanuel God is With Us” feat. Anne Wilson to all digital streaming services. Tomlin penned the song and it originally appeared on his 2021 Emmanuel: Christmas Songs of Worship album and was an Amazon exclusive featuring Anne Wilson.

Tomlin’s year also included the release of a new album “Live From Good Friday” and a new book How Great is Our God: Living a Worship-Led Life in a Me-Driven World, Tomlin was the guest co-host on KLOVE Radio for an entire week, and made appearances on The Bobby Bones Show (iHeartRadio) and Apple Music’s Country Faith Radio with friends Tyler Hubbard and Ashley Gorley. His annual ‘Good Friday Nashville’, promoted by the Awakening Foundation, became the largest ticketed Christian concert at Bridgestone Arena for the third time in the spring. Having sold out far in advance, production modifications were made to add more seats for the record setting event. As one of the most successful Christian touring artists in the world, Tomlin has begun to wrap up his historic year as his “Holy Forever World Tour”, promoted by TPR., came to a close over the weekend with a sold-out record setting night in Tampa, Florida. The final night set a genre attendance record for the venue adding another achievement to the tour’s impressive accomplishments. Tomlin’s global headline tour saw tremendous success with sellouts on every leg of the tour including Newark, Anaheim, Rotterdam, Houston, a career market record play in Dallas, Texas, and a completely sold-out run in Canada. The “Holy Forever World Tour” was aptly named after one of the biggest songs of his career, having been nominated for three Grammys, a Billboard Music Award, a KLOVE Award and having won this year’s Dove Award as Song of The Year. The #1 gold-certified single, “Holy Forever,” was released more than two and a half years ago and has had a global response resulting in the song being recognized and sung around the world. To date it quantifies in many ways as one the most impactful songs of his career.
