PLANO, Texas. — Prestonwood Baptist Church will host its annual Tree Lighting Festival at 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 21 at both Plano and North campuses.
Every year Prestonwood kicks off the holiday season with the Tree Lighting Festival, featuring events for the entire community, including, photos with Santa Claus, inflatables, a “Polar Express” train, games, free hot chocolate and popcorn, local food trucks with meals for purchase, live reindeer and story time with Mrs. Claus.
The Plano Campus will have Christmas hayrides and a live nativity, and the North Campus will end the night with fireworks.
Each campus will have a special needs sensory room available for adults and children with special needs
The event will run from 5:30 p.m – 8 p.m. CT, with the tree being lit at 6 p.m. CT.
Throughout the holiday season, Prestonwood will host several other events, including “The Gift of Christmas” production Dec. 2-11, the “Wrapped in Love” toy donation, an Operation Christmas Child shoebox drive, Christmas Eve Candlelight services and a service on Christmas Day at both campuses.
